Soest, Germany: Design Engineer

For our office in Soest (Germany), we are looking for a Design Engineer for our Components Business Group.




Your challenge

  • Design inductive components
  • Use design tools, simulating and building software models for comprehensive designs that meet customer's application requirements
  • Work closely with Sales Manager or Account Executives as well as directly with customer's development department, create engineering-to-engineering channel
  • Responsible for the design and projects. Report progress of the design/projects to Sales Manager or Account Executives
  • Work with different design teams in Europe and Asia, sharing resources and experiences and support them regarding achievement of their sales budgets

Your skills

  • Graduate degree in electronics or physics with no or some experience in the field
  • At least theoretical knowledge in designing and/or inductive components by using design tools
  • Strong knowledge of raw materials i.e. magnetic core and plastics
  • Up to 50% travel
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in German and English (other languages desirable)
