Delta Energy Systems has launched the new DP 300B and DP 600B Series as well as a new power system controller PSC 1. The DP 300B and DP 600B Series consist of extremely compact and very short shelf power systems. These new product series are based on highly advanced technology and offer new features for variety of applications. Especially significant feature is the floor space saving due to the very compact size of this product. The outstanding efficiency of the rectifiers together with the efficiency mode provides energy savings over an extremely wide operating range. The very low noise level makes this product more convenient to use in human-accessible environments.

The modular shelf design concept of the new series allows for flexible shelf power solutions which are easily integratable into standard cabinets. Different applicable power system controllers PSC 1000, PSC 1 and PSC 3 with complete range of intelligent system functionalities, offer a solution for the different applications.

The key components of the DP 300B and DP 600B Series are the new rectifiers DPR 300B-48 and DPR 600B-48. They are single phase, hot-pluggable, fan cooled rectifiers. The outstanding power density and very short depth of these products offer the optimum, very reliable 1U or 2U shelf powersolutions for space critical applications.

The new PSC 1 is a  power system controller for small shelf power systems. It consists of a compact central unit providing I/O periphery. With the new PSC 1 controller, Delta has introduced a new innovative standard of an easy user interface to display information about the current status of the power system. The controller's battery management with regularly accomplished capacity tests is one of the key factors for the availability of a power system. The PSC 1 controller provides remote alarming by means of potential-free relay contacts.

Delta offers various new power system solutions based on the new rectifier modules. These power supply systems are designed for applications such as digital access, wireless base stations, microwave links as well as PABX for indoor and outdoor environments. Numerous options provide solutions for global applications in different environments. The DP 300B and DP 600B series meet the requirements set by the telecommunication standards.
