Chungli, Taiwan, June 18, 2004 -- Delta Electronics, Inc., a world leader in power system technologies and manufacturing, has introduced the IPM04 and IPM12 product of non-isolated, fully integrated Point-of-Load (POL) power modules into their Delphi Series of Board Mounted DC/DC power converters.

The Delphi Series IPM04 and IPM12 family of product provides up to 10A or 33W of output current/power in an industry standard, compact, IC-like, molded package.

The IPM04 and IPM12 units are a highly integrated POL that needs no external components to provide its point-of-load function. They operates from either a 3V~5.5V (IPM04S) or an 8V~14V (IPM12S) source and provide a wide range of output voltages from 0.8V~5V. These units are available in either a SMD or SIP package.

The IC-like IPM04 and IPM12 units offer high efficiency of up to 94% at full load. With optimized component placement and creative design from Delta's world wide Engineering Teams, the Delphi Series IPM04/IPM12 converters deliver not only outstanding electrical and thermal performance, but have industry leading efficiencies which translate into more board space at less cost for our customer's space constrained and cost-sensitive applications.
