Taipei, Taiwan, June 27, 2005 -- Delta Electronics, Inc., a world leader in power systems technology and manufacturing, has introduced the H24SN 28V, 350W half brick converter.

The H24SN isolated converter features a 24V input, single 28V output, which is able to deliver up to 350W of output power in an industry standard half brick footprint and pinout. With optimized component placement, creative design topology and patented technologies from Delta's World Wide Engineering Teams, the H24SN converter delivers not only outstanding electrical and thermal performance, but has industry leading efficiencies which translate into more board space at less cost for our customer's space constrained and cost-sensitive applications.

The H24SN converter operates from a wide input voltage range of 18V to 36V. Typical efficiency for this module at full load of 350 watts is better than 90.5%.

The Delphi Series H24SN converter comes complete with a host of industry-standard features to insure that this unit will reliably perform in the harshest environments. All modules are fully protected against abnormal input/output voltage, current, and temperature conditions. The H24SN unit also has a built-in heat spreader for optimal thermal coupling and conduction cooling. An optional heatsink is available for extended thermal operation. Delta's Delphi Series converters meet all safety requirements with basic insulation.

Sample quantities of Delta's Delphi H24SN converters are now available. In OEM quantities of 1000 pieces, the unit price is US$63. Standard lead-time for this product is from stock to 8 weeks, depending on the volume.
