 Chungli, Taiwan, March 21, 2005 -- Delta Electronics, Inc., a world leader in power systems technology and manufacturing, has introduced an innovative new product into their Delphi Series of Board Mounted DC/DC Power Converters.. the Q48DW, a 45W, dual output, quarter brick converter

The Q48DW converter provides two positive outputs of up to 45 watts of power in an extremely cost effective, industry standard, quarter brick footprint.

The Delphi Series Q48DW, isolated, DC/DC converter operates from a wide input voltage range of 36V to 75V, along with an array of outputs comprised of the 2.5V/3.3V, 1.8V/3.3V, 1.5V/3.3V, 1.2V/3.3V, and 1.0V/3.3V. The Q48DW provides a full 8A of output current for our 3.3Vout unit and up to 13A for several other outputs (1.5V and below). The quarter brick-sized Q48DW unit, features very high efficiencies of up to 87% at full load. As a factory option, either of the two outputs may be selected to come up first. Basic features include, low profile, low output ripple and noise, a standard footprint, industry-standard pin out, basic insulation and all units are fully protected against all abnormal conditions.

Delta's Delphi Series Q48DV converters are available for immediate delivery. In OEM quantities of 1000 pieces, the unit price is US$25. Standard lead-time for this product is from stock to 8 weeks, depending on the outputs and volume.
